Samantha Granberry is Vice-President AHF Worldwide, Marketing & Sales sect of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. With a degree in Radio-Television-Film arts from California State University Northridge, and an extensive background in media sales and marketing, this Pasadena California native has focused her professional and personal endeavors on projects that aim to make a positive difference in today’s society.
Samantha began her career as an intern, for what was at the time, the countries only Community Action Department in Radio at the legendary station 92.3 The Beat FM. Following this role, she went on to become a Sales & Marketing Executive for a few companies Forbes has named as “the world’s most valuable global media brands,” including Viacom’s MTV Networks and Clearchannel Media. During her tenure with these conglomerates, Samantha spearheaded pro-social campaigns and affiliate sales acquisitions for 33 affiliate networks including the domestic activations of VH1’s Save The Music; BET’s Rap-It-Up HIV/AIDS Awareness Initiative; Nickelodeon’s Let’s Play Children’s Health Initiative; and CMT’s One Country National Food Drive Initiative; in addition to the global launchings of networks such as MTV Tres and MTV Chi.
Simultaneously launching an additional career as a freelance journalist, Samantha has been the Senior Entertainment Writer for Radio One’s Industry Trade Magazine “The Frequency News” and was also the Assistant Writer/Researcher for Author Hill Harper’s bestselling book, “The Conversation” which made #2 on the New York Times Best Seller List.
